The Inn at Grey Hills
A large Inn halfway between Landor and Port Kofar. The Inn is a major center of commerce for this thinly populated region. Merchants traveling to and from the port, woodsmen, shepherds, soldiers and fur trappers all frequent the inn. The Inn is a rather secure building with blank outer walls made of cut stone. The building surrounds an inner courtyard only accessible through a tunnel like corridor that can be sealed by a pair of heavy wooden gates. The Inn is a three story building with stables, storerooms, bathes and shops on the lower level. The shops include a wheelwright, a saddle maker, blacksmith and a carpenter. The second floor includes a large common room, kitchens, low cost dormitories, apartments for the innkeeper’s family and staff. The third floor is entirely given over to guest rooms. A small village of some fifty houses has grown up around the inn.
