Estrell is a famous wizard and alchemist currently dwelling in an elegant palace in Wallen. Estrell spent many years as an adventurer before he sought a more settled life and focused on less dangerous ways to make money. He has become a creator of magical items with a particular specialty in buildings iron golems and various machina. Most of these creations are built on commission, but he does occasionally produce items simply to test his own abilities or build up the already impressive defenses of his palace.   Estrell is a hansom man with jet black hair, piercing blue eyes and a nearly trimmed beard. He prefers to wear elegant, well-tailored robes of silk or expensive wool. He has a collection of fabulous cloaks of high quality fur, silk or embroidered wool.   Estrell has two wives, both sorceresses and five children ranging in age from teens to early adulthood. He also employees an extensive staff of apprentices, servants and bodyguards.

Personal history

Estrell was the son of a father and mother who were of Mountaineer Corgerian origin. His parents were merchants specializing in exporting Danite made glass and metal ware. He convinced his parents to train him in magic with a plan to start creating magic items that could be sold. As soon as he completed his apprenticeship, he began to work on making simple magic items that could sold. He moved from town to town selling beautifully made Danite crystal lanterns enchanted with permanent light spells. His wandering often got him caught up in various adventurers as he often found he had to protect himself from bandits, monsters and cheating nobles.. He spent at least a decade working as a court magician for various northern barons before deciding he would go on a campaign to raise money so he could settle permanently and live a luxurious lifestyle. After settling down in Wallen he took on two young Danite women as apprentices and soon ended marrying both them. Over the last twenty five years Estrell and his wives have raised five children and continued to build the family fortune.

Estrell received his early education from tutors then was apprenticed to a prominent mage.  At the age of twenty, he completed his apprenticeship and began to work independently.  He continued a program of self=education by obtaining magical texts and exchanging spells with other mages.
