Captain of Castell

The Captain of Castell is a position reserved for for a long service Captain of the Alyite Order. The primary duty of the Captain is to defend the Valley of the Fair and the Shrine of Castell from attack.

Qualifications

The Captain is always a long-service officer judge to be very comfortable exercising independent command and able to cooperate effectively with local allies.

Appointment

The Captain will be called before the Marshal of the North and given a written commission and a badge of office  typically worn on the cloak.

Duties

To command the Alyite Chapter of Castel, train its warriors, look after the welfare of the Chapter members, maintain it's supplies and defenses

Responsibilities

To maintain a permanent garrison in the Valley of the Fair and assist the inhabitants of the Valley in its defense.
