Alda is a close champion of Queen Varriya, having become one of her ladies in waiting at age 15. Daughter of one of Varriya's aunts, the now deceased Baroness Charna Alora Etellos Vannick, the two women bear a clear family resemblance, although Alda is notably smaller and more delicate looking than her kinswomen Like her kinswomen, Alda has black hair, blue eyes and fair skin. Originally caught up with court life and the search for a suitable husband Alda showed herself willing to completely commit to Varriya's vision to save the clan and restore it to power.
Although an able and knowledgeable priestess, Alda is somewhat hampered by physical weakness and clumsiness Despite being physically weak, Alda is extremely tough showing a great ability to survive when the clan was lost at sea and in danger of starvation.
