Bulrock felt his family was shamed with the birth of his granddaughter Jillian Graber. Because he was never able to learn from his daughter, Handeo Graber, who the father of his grandchild is, he felt shamed that he was not able to marry her away as she had a child out of wedlock.
This shame led him to drink. With the alchole he would sometimes become violent. One night, after a few too many drinks, he struck Handeo across the face when she once again would not give him the anwer he longed to hear. This was quickly followed by him kicking both his daughter and granddaughter, now a toddler, out on the streets. It was at this point that he denounced them both from his family line.
