A special crown that rests on the head of the Lord Instructor. It is the only item in all of Continental to possess a special ability:

This ability makes sure that the crown can never change shape, get dented, rust, crack, or melt. No one knows why an object has gained an ability. Even with all the most advanced technology no one can tell what material the crown is made of. No one knows exactly when the crown was crafted, the best estimates place its age at up to 855,000 years old. like its age, the creator is also completely unknown. Why and how the soul was created is shrouded in mystery, with cryptic myths about the soul floating about the world. One myth says its called the Soul of Inovation because the creators soul is trapped inside. No one who has ever worn the crown has heard ominous whispers though, so this is probably untrue.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The crown is static but does spin when in its natural worn position of floating around the wearers head. It is patterned with strange lines which resemble motherboards or circuits. When its put on by a new person the crown collects data about them by glowing on the inside and spinning faster for about a minute. No one knows how, but a wearer is able to possess knowledge that was lost to time for short periods when wearing it. the lines shift and glow on the underside when it is worn, almost scanning the users brainwaves.

History

Created very long ago by unknown beings, it was buried for hundreds of thousands of years until some modern era Fairies dug it up. After that it travelled across Continental, eventually landing in the hands of some people in the volcanic areas around 4200 ME. After that it got studied a bit before the Confederation got it and made it the coronation crown.

Significance

It is the coronation item for the Lord Instructor and the royal jewel. Before that it was a sacred item of many legendary scientists and researcher kings.
