Merida Fangwrangler
She may not look it, but Merida Fangwrangler could well be one of the wealthiest women in Sharrow's Hold .
At a quick glance, you'd think her just a rough-looking commoner. She wears no visible adornments at all, and her clothing is simple and coarse.
Merida was one of the first to arrive, and supposedly invited personally by Leonidas Sharrow, who may have known her beforehand. She rapidly got to work creating buildings. Not fine palaces or mansions, but tenement blocks. She did this with profligate use of magic, but it is not known if she is a spellcaster herself, or just had access to a lot of magical devices, scrolls and the like.
Building tenement blocks was a shrewd move. She knew that once adventurers settled in for the log run, they'd want to move from expensive accommodation in taverns to somewhere a bit cheaper. So she offers a wide selection of accommodation, from dormitories and shared rooms to furnished, reasonably comfortable apartments with balconies and even running water. But woe betide anyone who is late with the rent ! Merida has all the right connections in the Sharrow's Hold Constabulary to be able to organise speedy and effective evictions at very short notice.
