Ascending Tower

The Ascending Tower is a ruinous tower in the fields of Alveolapis that reaches further into the sky than any other building by beings. To be able to hold this structure, its builder (an unknown mage) had to build on Alveolapis to draw magical stabilisation from the crystal cave, this allowed the building of a narrow twisting structure that rises far far far up in the sky, barely protected by a wall that was built more to shield from the eye than to stabilize the structure. Through twenty floors spicked with notes from the builder and his husband desperately searching for the now-missing mage, the tower shows both an increase in magical powers and control and a descend into madness. At the very highest floor a cracked window shows a deep fall down below right into the current of a river that twists and turns... but despite many search efforts the remains of the builder have not been found.

Were one to fall inside the tower one will find another way out: the use of magic has created a portal leading straight to Khaos where the mirror of this tower has so far largely resisted the randomisation of energy and protects the Potential of a slim figure cowering in its tip, sitting in the chaotic nothing of the plane for decades now, never to be found... or will they be found someday by a band of daring adventurers?
