The Remembering Spirit

Far to the West of Colossus a traveller would take foot upon the lands of Chuck'Ruani. Here great behemoths of the sky and land are worshipped as deities.
In being the first of their kind there is power to be witnessed within them. Those native have learned the language and prayers needed to request the favour of that power.
One such Behemoth is the Remembering Spirit, the Striding Noble. Its children are known as Elephants. Further on from this are a race of humanoids in the likeness of the Behemoth, as the lizardfolk are likened to the dragons, the Ivorians are considered the divine grand children of the Behemoth.
Usually this race of elephant humanoids are the holy warriors and healers of the Remembering Spirit. They embody the nobility and natural power of the the Elephants.
Those of Chuck'Ruani hold them with high regard. Warriors wishing a legacy adorn their shields, armour, homes with tusks, and symbology of the massive beasts.
To have the blessing of the Remembering Spirit is to have ones story never forgotten. It is said if the Spirit chooses to remember you then your soul will rest in the Graveyard of Memory and Tears.
The Elephants of Chuck'Ruani wander freely, untouched by beast or being. Those those that hunt them are hunted themselves and punished violently.
Even across the waters the Elephants of Chunck'Ruani are known to be symbols of great power and nobility. Some of wealth have paid for the privilege to witness the beasts and offer prayer.
Some noble houses have gone as far as making the Elephant the symbol of their family. In hope that their children are blessed with strength and nobility.
Carry their likeness with you and you will step strong, be forever remembered and one day hear your tales being sung as your spirit passes on.
