Modumetro Prime
Geography
A planet roughly 20,000 km around with a gravity 2 times that of Earth. A breathable atmosphere surrounds the arid planet that seems to have no above-ground vegetation at ground level despite being a rather temperate climate. In the mountains, however, the water collects in mountain lakes some carving intricate shapes into the mountain ranges.
Fauna & Flora
The only currently known flora is a moss that surrounds the mountain lake areas some spots meters thick as it traps and absorbs water like a sponge.
Natural Resources
An initial survey of the planet found that like earth the core of the planet was mostly iron-based. Deposits of the metal extend from the tips of mountains into the core itself. Theoretically this is why the planet has yet to cool enough to produce ice.
