Warchiefs Barokir and Dorokir (Ba-ro-keer and doh-roh-keer)

Warchief Dorokir and Borokir Lesser Giants can claim no Clan

Occupation- Warchief of the Ettin Goal- Gain support to overthrow the Hill Giants Attitude- Deceptive and Aggressive Stakes- if they fail they will best case be a lesser follower of Chief Guh for several centuries which is dishonorable and a failure, worst case Chief Guh squashes the revolution and has the ettin and their followers executed.   The Warchiefs are the leaders of the Ettin people in Två. After getting their merits fighting off Giant Bandits in Styra that wished to do harm upon their people, Dorokir and Barokir were trusted to head their people and territory in the newly colonized Plains of Thunder on Ómar Crún. The Warchiefs have always been vocal objectors in the placement of their people near the bottom of the Ordening, and were one of the loudest voices calling for the lesser giants to get their own domain. Dorokir is the left head and the smarter of the two. Constantly scheming and brainstorming webs of intrigue within the other groups in the Ordening. This deceptive nature pairs well with Barokir who is violent, capable, and merciless. Now The warchiefs are rallying races of lesser giants to rise up against their True Giant overlords to get out from beneath their thumb.

Personal history

Dorokir and Barokir were born during a time when the Lesser Giants were facing the highest points of oppression. Their mother is nameless in their memory, as once their Fire Giant masters in Strya found put about their birth, their mother was executed. This act of brutality is especially cruel in giant culture and was intended to send a message to the lesser giants. Dorokir and Barokir were never suited for working the Fire Giant's herds, and joined up as scouts under the Ordenings military. They were the first in a generation of lesser giant to be allowed to join the military and were pioneers in this regard. After them, the way was paved for entire armies made up of lesser giants to serve The Ordening. They quickly moved up the ranks to the title of Warchief They served in this capacity for nearly 500 years when the Frost Giants made the decree that Lesser Giants must relinquish military positions immediately. Dorokir and Barokir had no intention of going back to be serfs to the Greater Giants. The Warchiefs, though officially relinquished of their title, still called themselves Warchief as an ironic act of rebellion. They moved in the night, recruiting other revolutionary lesser giants, and leaving a trail of mangled giant bodies in Greater Giant Settlements. Some raids would see more than a dozen giants slain, and hundreds scarred permanently.  The Warchiefs targeted Hill Giant Settlements to take advantage of the lack of guards, and to turn Chief Guh and her people against the other True Giants. Eventually their infamy ran before them and a force of Flame Giants caught up with the warchiefs. To propagate the idea that the Warchiefs and their comrades were savages and monsters for the crime of murdering their kin, most were taken alive and held in prison rather thane executed. They sat imprisoned for over a century when the Ordening, after decades of protest and rebellion, decided to give the lesser giants their own seperate domain, banishing them and the Hill Giants to Ómar Crún to colonize territory there. One of the demands that were met during these treaties was the freedom of the Ettin peoples' rightful warchief.  After they were freed they took command of their people's territory with irritates disappointment. The local small folk were poor, and made even poorer after the raids to take the territory. The soil was weak (though, the etting probably aren't intelligent enough to farm it anyway.) And game gets scarce this far north due to the massive wall Två is built around. This has brought the Ettin back to a rebellious mindset, accompanied by the Hill Giants establishing an aggressive authority among the Lesser Giants.

Gender Identity

The Warchiefs were born into a time after authoritarian propaganda campaigns attempting to change the Ettin's previously Matriarchal tendencies. This was as a result of the True Giants trying to keep lesser giants from reproducing. This shows in their aggressive displays of masculinity, but also chivalrous respect and reverence towards the female gender.

Sexuality

The Warchiefs are asexual. Ettin generally only mate to reproduce, and the Warchiefs made a pact to one another after their mother died that they would never wish to put their young through the loss of a parent, and this would make them less effective in combat.

Education

The Warchiefs were not granted any formal education past hunting, gathering, and fighting. Dorokir learned to read giant after his military service in order to intercept and decipher messages their True Giant overlords were sending between one another.
