She grew up in a quaint little hamlet and was chosen by some cosmic force to wield powerful magic so, through sheer determination, she taught herself how to use it.
As a result she was ostracized and her techniques quirky and unorthodox.
When she was old enough she took on an apprenticeship in the Starlight Tower where her techniques were refined.
She then taught her brother, Igaas, who up and left one night.
