Vargo's Hill

Vargo's Hill is located in the center of Old Town. Nearly 1500 years ago, Vargo the Trollslayer  discovered an entrance to the buried ruins of an ancient city destroyed by whatever catastrophe ended the Eloszorian Civilization beneath the hill where Castle Vargo  now sits. Vargo's descendants looted the ruins for generations, and the settlement that grew up around Vargo's Hill to support (and profit from) the exploration eventually grew into the city of Khezvaros. The cave leading into the ancient city was sealed after the last of the treasure was hauled out (some claim it was sealed to keep something in), but popular legend asserts that there are other entrances hidden in or around the city, including a secret tunnel in the dungeon of Castle Vargo.
