The intelligent and loyal vizier of Neheira ji Peleiades. Though Neheira ji Peleiades is not aware of it, he is one of the few of her advisors that actually have her best interests at heart. He still remembers the bright, curious and friendly little imperial princess she once was. Demeral is the man most responsible for keeping the Imperium running smoothly as he balances Neheira ji Peleiades' wants and the Imperium's needs.
He is in a constant battle to diminish the influence of those like Alyn Berameus over the mad empress.
