Mad, paranoid and very dangerous, Princess (Zharinna) of the Cammontar Empire. Chaeri Taemyan (Chay-Ri Tay-Mee-An) was the heir to the throne of the Cammontar Empire, scheduled to be coronated on her 30th birthday, but 18 months before that date she seemed to suffer a psychotic break and it is believed she murdered her betrothed, Tupalala, a maid and a guard. What actually happened is that she was ambushed by 2 assassins and mortally wounded. Tupalala used magic to save her, killing herself and the assassins in the process. But somehow the souls of Tupalala & one of the assassins, Hyseon became part of Chaeri. So now Chaeri has three different personalities, each with severe mental trauma effecting their personalities and memories, all fighting for dominance within. Her mental illness has resulted in her being removed from the line of succession.
She is still loved by her brother, Jaemin Taemyan even though she has tried to kill him when under Hyseon's control. Mistrusting others with her well being, he takes her with him when he leads the conquest of the nations to the west of the Cammontar Empire. He makes sure to have dinner with her each evening, where he talks calmly to her, even if he has to be wary of letting her get hold of a knife. All three personalities start to slowly soften their aggression towards him (but not anyone else). Jaemin suspects Jeesong Taikim {Antagonist} had something to do with Chaeri's madness.
Somehow, Tupalala's soul has enabled all three personalities to start to be able to use magic even though no Cammontari has ever been able to use magic previously.
