Session Sixteen
General Summary
Willow and Justin tried to investigate the dead crow Willow had obtained when they tried to attack her. Both her Wyrd and the Magic Mirror just seemed to suggest it was a mundane dead crow. Justin's research he speculated that the crows that attacked her were likely either a mage that specialises into turning into crows, an extremely rare kind of lycanthorpe that can turn into a flock of crows or someone like a warlock who got their ability through a deal with a higher power.
Leah went to Bridgeway Soup Kitchen, which was very quiet and she discovered people had been going missing.
Justin, Willow and Leah met up to discuss the situation with Freddie and Alice. Various ideas were discussed to try and get him out of her body including:
Putting him into a dead or a brain dead body
Willow using a barrier that traps Freddie and not Alice
Transferring Freddie from Alice to Justin
Convincing Alice to attack Toil and Trouble to force the Witch to deal with Freddie
They decided that the dead body/brain dead body would be the best idea so called up Alice on the phone to ask Freddie about this idea. Freddie said he'd either need an intact body that had been dead for under half an hour or the brain dead idea would work. He seemed very excited about all these ideas.
Afterwards, Justin went to talk to Antonio about their plans and how to aquire a body. From Justin's explanation, Antonio was able to deduce that Freddie is a polterguist, that is very weak. After being freed Freddie requires life energy to get stonger and take over, however as Alice is a vampire she has no life energy for Freddie to use. Therefore, Freddie being in Alice is actually keeping him weak and restrained. Freddie probably has the energy for one more body jump but that's it so he has to be certain it is to somewhere safe. Antonio offered to contact some Necromancers for Justin and also his assistance if he needed any help restraining Alice.
Once this was discovered, the plan was changed to keep him in Alice's body instead of remove him. They decided that to slow down his plans, they needed to destroy the tools he had been making. They did this by Willow distracting Alice, while Leah and Justin broke into Alice's home. They trashed the place to disguise the fact that they had been in to destroy/take all of Freddie's stuff. They succeeded in getting all of Freddie's stuff, however, Leah got a bit excited and took all interesting bits of electronics she found while she was there.
They then went to Gronk's Shiney Things to see if they could get back the Magic Stealing Bracelet that Willow had traded in. Justin had had the idea that since Alice has no life energy, the only thing the bracelet should absorb Freddie's energy but not hurt Alice. By trading some jewels from Alice's apartment and several things that Leah had made, Gronk (slightly reluctantly) agreed to give them the bracelet.
When Alice got back to discover her trashed home, between finding a long strand of red hair and the unusual bits of electronics that had been taken, she was able to deduce it was probably Leah who had done it.
