The Magistrate
State authorized spellcasters serving as Matteus Candentes personal cabal and as the state organization to hunt unauthorized spellcasters. Their loyalty is to the king, but in reality they answer to Matteus.
The head of the organization consist of 13 of Eronus' most powerful spellcasters (not counting Matteus). Virtually every authorized spellcaster is obliged to work for the magistrate when required, making it a massive force of spellcasters. On top of that, the most elite guards of Eronus is in the Magistrates employ, known as the Purple Guard for their ropes.

Structure
The council of magisters is the Magistrate's leading body. Their purpose is to exert the will of the royal family, but in actuality it is the will of Matteus Candentes. The council has a flat hierachy, with Bartolleus Flech as chairman; that said, the logner you have been in the council and your magical prowess tend to have an impact on your influence in the council.

Othan af Kærdomsgård, en middelaldrende mand i bordeux kappe. Med sig har han to halv-gennemsigtige gyldne ulve, der står knurrende, klar til angreb. I samme gyldne farve som ulvene, lyser hans øjne.

Damian Althiser - Newly appointed member of which very little is known. Notable characters outside the council Sergeant Ra'zel Grost - Leader of the elite soldiers in the Magistrate's employ. Aelar Mindathis - Former apprentice of Perovalt Kopernikus, the last two years a favored agent of the magistrate, and now disappeared on a secret mission to the north. Known to be very skilled, the rising star within the magistrate.

Public Agenda
The Magistrate was made with two primary purposes:
- The hunting and capture or killing of unauthorized spellcasters. It is unknown what happens to those caught, but they are never seen again so death can be assumed.
- The enforcement of laws regarding the use of magic by authorized spellcasters.

The organization is known to sit on a great wealth of magical items confiscated since their establishment in year 1.
