The Demon lord of Greed is an inscidious foe, whispering into the ears of those who want more then their station allows. Daria particuarly enjoys plucking at the heartstrings of the impovershed and desperate seeking to destroy them with their own greed. While she may strike deals and bargains with mortals, it is rare that these are long-lived. Her name given to her for her reputation of leaving nothing but suffering and destitution in the wake of her entertainment. The lamenting of souls which succumb to greed power her even further.
