Dismal Plane

All thoughts and ideas are cast into the astral where they may take shape or add to the arcane architecture of the arcane weave. The heaviest thoughts, emburdened by hatred, grief, and agony descend to the deepest reaches of the immaterium, forming the foundation of the Dismal Plane. A wretched world of darkness and hunger, the Dismal plane consists mostly of the Forest of the Unformed. Cloaked in shadow, this place is home to the feral wastes of incomplete ideas and unrealised fear. Home to many an abyssal creature and haunting grounds for denizens of The Deep. Many a soul which finds themselves within the Forest is haunted by nightmares and risks their very soul being sundered by the beasts that roam.
However, this place is not wholly uninhabited. Beings which make their mark through strife are able to bend and twist the unformed lands, becoming lords of strife. At the center of this plane, a ruptuing place, blasted with magma and thorns lies the domain of Tyndalion; Helltide. Here, the God of Blood and Anguish rules over a large partition of the Dismal Plane with unrestrained tyranny and cruelty.
The Plains of Putrefaction are a swamp-like land, which oozes and excretes one the most noxious and deadly of diseases. These lands bubble and churn with malintent, littered with the inumerable corpses of the plague-fathers victims.
