Commander Varlon Crowe (a.k.a. The Noble Lord)
Commander Varlon is a seasoned and hardened military leader who has dedicated his life to the defense of Rimmrott. As a human, he has spent decades climbing the ranks of the army and now holds command over the town’s militia and defense forces. Known for his stern demeanor and tactical brilliance, Varlon’s leadership has kept Rimmrott safe from both the dangerous creatures of the nearby swamps and potential threats from within. He is deeply respected by his soldiers, though some view him as too rigid, particularly in how he handles matters of discipline and loyalty. Varlon holds an unyielding sense of duty and takes his responsibility for the town’s safety very seriously, making him both an effective leader and a difficult man to sway.
Beneath his gruff exterior, Varlon cares deeply for the people of Rimmrott, though he rarely shows it openly. He views any weakness as a potential liability in a military town so close to danger.
