The Exiled Great Shaman

The exiled great shaman is a myth or rumor that started twenty years ago. Before the Truth Seekers met their end, there was a story of one of the great shamans leaving the council. While they wasn't replaced, it is belived they headed to the westernlands to take on the duty of watching over the shrines and sacred place. While it is a common duty, it is normally a rotating postion until the exiled shaman took up the duty. Rumor has it that they might have done something forbidden that made them eith be forced in to exile or choose to exile themselves.

The Keeper of Shadows is the mysterious great shaman who watches over the shrines of the westernlands. This indivdiual has been helping the truth seekers for a time till the haven incident. After that they mostly stuck to their duty and to look out for those banished from the alliance. As of now only those in the branded community even know what she been up to over the years. -Gabriel Valier

Summary

The Myth is built around the dispearance of one of the great shamans and how they no longer sit upon the council. With many speculating on what happened and what the great shaman is up to. Even the name of the shaman has been lost over the years as only their tittle exist.

Historical Basis

The core myth started twenty years ago after word of a great shaman taking up the duty of safe guarding the shrines of the westernlands. A Duty that also may have put them at odds with the truth seekers or even an ally. What is known is that a figure tied to the shrines has been seen over the years even after the end. Though no really truth has come out about the shaman.
