Prompt 6: The Great Purge of Opal District

The Great purge of the Opal District Occurred almost twenty years before the end of the second descendant war. Their was a worker revolt fueled by the mistreatment of the Fit Lorrner and other undesirable groups. The leader of the revolt got as many people he can to bring about a complete shutdown of all the factories in the district. Proving the value of the workers that kept them going. This caused great anger among the factory owners and the nobles who were unable to meet the supply demand of the empire.
At first they used the city guard to deal with the issue. Cracking a few heads and roughing up workers in order to break their spirit. They though that would calm them down and get them back to work. What they didn't know till later was their actions emboldened the strikers who grew in number with each attack by the guards. This eventually lead to an open battle in the streets of salire that ended with a good amount of guards dead even if the strikers loss almost the same amount.

The nobles fearing that the growing unrest would spread across to other districts. Sought the aid of the empire. The empire focused on their war with beast clan sent one person from their newly minted Purifier organization. A person known as Inquisitor Phoenix.
The inquisitor was a devout believer in the elimination of corruption. From magical, political, social, and anything else that could be a threat to the empire. That’s why when he showed us he came with the purpose of resolving the problem as efficiently as possible.
Thus calling forth his power he burned the whole district to the ground. Not caring for anyone who wasn’t apart of the protest. He didn’t care if they were city guard, striker, or not involved. He felt a purge was necessary and that anyone that stood in his way would be burned.
The city was devastated from this action.
