Prompt 32: Message Sphere

A Message Sphere is a means to transport information across large distances. These Spheres can send and receive information using special relays. As long as you are near one you can receive messages from other connected spheres. Message spheres aren't common amongst the commoners and tend to be in the hands of military units in the Presari Empire and anyone rich enough to afford one. Messages spheres can also be used to store information for anyone to receive. This is done by setting the sphere into storage mode.    The Message Sphere is Lazari Technology that was left for anyone to look at. The Volzian were the first to implement this technology allowing them to keep in connection with their squads and command them properly. They even found ways to embed the spheres into their armor to even give communication between their individual units and to act as a black box.   The Presari would scavenge and implement them to communicate between their generals and commanders. It can also be used to communicate between their different settlements. It took some time for them to figure out how to make their own, but it is not an easy process and can lead to lower range in transporting of information. They can also sort out. Better quality devices are only handed out on special situations and only if it's possible to limit it's damage chance.
Access & Availability
It is an uncommon item mostly held by people in the military or people rich enough to buy one. Some adventurers may uncover some in a ruin, but will quickly unload it for money.
Discovery
It was created by the lord of creation who was once part of the Vere civilization. It was then repurposed by the Volza who had deep knowledge of it and had the ability to easily make them. Then the Presari would end up scavenging and recovering ones from volza and Lazari bases.
