Prompt 16: Tarune Scales

I remember the first time I found a couple tarune scales while on a hunt. They were just sitting there in the middle of the forest not far from the great wolf mother's shrine. I originally tried to take it to the shrine but was told it was a gift for my upcoming birthday by the spirit.   I was so happy when Dhaigham helped me make a necklace out of it. I cab still remember the first time they glowed as I was channeling my essence. I knew as long as I wore them I would be protected from the darkness of the world. -Nevarr ov Talion
