Prompt 20: Remt Smiths Letter to her Apprentice

Remy Smith wrote secret letters to her apprentice who went in hiding in the west after they uncovered the heart of the forge. The knowledge and truth of that day has been kept secret even from her. Though she does try to inquire every chance she gets. Mostly she just wants to make sure her apprentice is doing alright. Having not heard from her personally and only kept in contact through letters sent through smugglers and trusted contacts.
Recently her apprentice had contacted her about setting up some stuff for her return and to verify a number of things. Wanting to be prepared for what may await their returns. Though thanks to some influence they gained and the fact that they were mostly unknown as an individual they expect the passage of time may dissuade some from taking action.

Purpose

A Letter was written to try to call her apprentice back now that things have calmed down in the city. The completion of task set by her apprentice and the calming of things in the city. To verify and inform that everything is in place for their return.

Dear Apprentice,
I have checked in on the things you wanted me to check on. I am sad to inform you that the old tavern closed down after the passing of the old owner. Luckily the property has been locked in trust and should only be allowed to be purchased in a couple months from now. Thanks to the letter you had me retrieve I should be able to lay the ground work for you to get first shot at buying thanks to a promise She made with you. Thanks to that you should be able to claim the property once you pay for any back taxes.
