Merchants of the Edge
Merchants of the Edge is a trade alliance started by King Cardia and other business owners in the Edge to combat the influence of the Nobles of Salire. Originally more of a resistance group to the nobles, they worked together to undermine their operations through proper competition and some under the table actions. They quickly pushed the nobles out using Kings partnership with the truth seekers to grow his business and his strategies against the nobles dealings.
Once the Nobles were pushed out the Merchants of the Edge became the true rulers of the edge. Controlling all major business markets along with building a strong relationship with any up and coming company. This turned the heads of the Merchants not just owners of successful companies but the leaders of the economic flow of the entire western lands.
