Leyfinder

Leyfinders are common items found along Ley Lines throughout Omath and Orela. Established by the Nuaira, the Leyfinders were created to help trace the ley lines in the first millennium of Solian history.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Once activated, Leyfinders illuminate based on the strength of the ley line they are nearest. Low-powered ley lines illuminate the red spheres at the base of the Leyfinder, moderately-powered ley lines illuminate the red spheres at the base and green spheres in the middle, while high-powered ley lines illuminate the red, green, and blue spheres at the top.

Raw materials & Components

The base component of a Leyfinder is a wood plank bored with fourteen holes of different sizes. Glass or crystal spheres are bound into these holes. The bottom of the Leyfinder is inserted into the ground, similar to a fencepost.
