Warwick Sector

Type: Sector Population: 32 Billion Ruling House: Wild Ruler: Wallis Wild Culture: Old Blood History: The Warwick Sector is the central area of the Dragon’s Head Nebula. Once settled by the Tutha of the 12th fleet, it along with all of the south of Drala was conquered by the Fabians who ruled it for thousands of years.   After the Fabian Withdrawal the Warwick sector was settled and conquered by Old Blood Furse who fled the Old ruins of Furse Space from the Skoll. Most those of who arrived in the Warwick Sector from Furse Space were from the Old Blood Kingdom of Sceaf in the Old Ruins. The king of Sceaf, Offa Redmane fought the Skoll for years to allow his people to flee to Drala. He died fighting the Skoll in his kingdom, allowing ship after ship to flee.   Gwen Redmane, granddaughter of Offa Redmane was the last king of Sceaf, and fought the Skoll until she herself was forced to flee with the last of the people she could save. After years traveling Drala, and aiding in new settlements through the Bastion, Anchorage, and Warwick Sectors, is crowned the First king of Warwick. House Redmane Aegis would rule the Kingdom of Warwick for much of it’s history, with only short periods of time between Redmane kings until the last Redmane King was deposed by the Great Savage Host of the Children of Rothgar, and the later formation of the Commonwealth of Drala.   Once the heart systems of the kingdom of Warwick, it was also known as the Kingdom of the Borderlands, which was the strongest of the Old Blood kingdoms in the Dragon Head Nebula for hundreds of years, but their power began to wane before the arrival of the Great Savage Host.   Many famous and powerful kings of Warwick are known far and wide throughout Drala. Such as Uhtred Redmane, who built Uhtred’s Line separating Warwick from Walhaz. Warwick and the Redmanes are also remembered as the last of the Old Blood Kingdoms to convert to the Fabian Faith, fighting back against those kingdoms who had converted, and defeating them, until their kings finally converted to the Fabian Faith.   As part of the Commonwealth of Drala, the Warwick Sector is one of the largest sectors. Ten major systems are supported by dozens of minor subsystems. Bellshade, Grove, Jordanee, Magon’s Hold, Magon’s Retreat, Mead, Starholm, Steadfast, Warcroft, and the Warwick Systems are all fortimitable systems in their own right, and several were once powerful kingdoms of the Old Blood which were forced to bend the knee to the Redmane Kings, such as the Jordanes, and Magons.   The Warwick Sector suffers raid from the Fabian Tutha of Walhaz, but are also known for launching their own raids into Walhaz Space. Although Uhtred’s Line of fortifications is still seen as the border between Warwick and Walhaz, as well as the edge of Commonwealth Space, it is largely a ruin which is mostly abandoned but for a few key location, and only garrisoned by local lords to protect their own systems.   House Wild became some of the most powerful lords in the Sector after the formation of the Commonwealth of Drala. Seen as the Lords of Warwick until the rise of King Oswald Gisking, when he began to reign in the power of the most powerful lords.
