Session 1: Preparing the Omacaryn caravan

General Summary

The Saga continues....... The Adventurers are waking up, still feeling wrecked from last days tests for the adventurers Guild. Waking up from the dead was more like it. But finally we all became proud members of the Adventurers Guild. Showing of with our Guild badges ( One more than the Others :-) ). After a good breakfast we've been directed to the Omacaryn brothers looking for our first assignment. These Elves have a house in Donner Keep. A servant girl opens the door and says we can visit the brothers on their terms. That means one by one. The first we met was the oldest brother Adorellan who is a trader in spices and herbs. Then we met the oldest brother Volodar who is a "great" hunter and trader in furs and all goods stripped from all living creatures of flesh and blood. And the last and oldest brother we met was Uldreyin. In his shining armor and his golden spear he tells us he's a merchant who sells Gold, Gems and other precious metals and has a good relation with the Dwarves in town. With whom he trades the precious goods and he enjoy's the protection of the Dwarves for this. They all question us about how we would be able to guide their caravan with goods in a save way to Slowbell. Without looting their goods before arrival. You've also may have noticed that they're all the oldest of the Brothers. That seems a bit odd you might say. The story is that they all don't seem to know anymore who's the oldest. But hey they're Elves. If i was that old i would forget too. Our party is honored to bring the goods along the dangerous route. For te right price off course. And with the help of a bottle of Snaak Smaak wine we've earned. well mostly Brynn earned it. and a half-Elf adventurer ( Silver Rank ) ready to give us the most save route to Slowbell ( we might hope). It wil take us give or take 10 days till destination. We also hired a Goliath (Giant chaser) as a guide for the trip. A good choice as i may add. And as an extra we hired a human and a dwarf for extra protection on the roads ahead. Now we've created a solid crew to help us get through these dangerous roads. Valstrax, strong and intimidating as he will be the caretaker for the gold that we got to set up the crew and materials for the journey. And because he's a terrifying Naga the guards will keep an eye on him as a free extra. Dhastean did our party a favor by leading us to the brothers for this assigment. Although he's probably more afraid for his wife then a trip to Slowbell, Because he led us to the Omacaryn brothers instead of the paperwork he was supposed to be doing. And off course many thanks to Brynn for giving two solid Legendary performances in the Waiting Outsider. Maybe, someday, we might lose him. As becoming a Bard for some fat and fancy King ( don't hope so ) But he didn't show off for nothing. It's his great succes that gave us the bottle of Snaak Smaak wine that brought us the necessary info we needed for the road ahead. And on the second day we hired five drivers for the carriages named Fokketh Redmane (Dwarf), Thorfuk Oreheart (Dwarf), Katmos Bloodflayer (Dwarf), Emma Twofoot (Halfling) and Gunthar Twofoot (Halfling) Also two apprentices for the horses named Willie and Isolda (human) and a cook named Renna Orinna (Elf), And well i forgot the Goliath guide's name. But just yell Urrghh and he will react. Next day, after sunrise we rode out and got ambushed by a couple of tribal warriors. They were better off robbing a child of candy. Because they got crushed like hell and our fury and anguish rained down on them. A bit later we got attacked by a mysterious panther like creature that sang a haunting song that welled upon us and made some of us fall asleep. Facing a near death by it seems a lost, evil, vicious pussycat. We somehow lived and by Enki's last blow of his sword he'd slain this creature and stripped of his beautiful fur which he sold to Volodar the Elf lying lazy on the wagon ( for which his still needs to be paid by that bloody Elf) (DM note: The elf took the fur for payment, because he was hit several times in the fight. where is the protection he is paying for?) For now this story ends, But not for long till we venture forward into our epic adventure of heroism, gold ( and planning groceries for lazy Elves on carts)
