A Whole New World
A new Portal connection has been made! From this new world emerged a man named Dallian. He had stumbled onto the portal while exploring a wondrous cave. The entrance unfortunately had collapsed and there were things… following him. He’ll gladly help us make first contact if we escort him back to his home safely. But beware; whatever roams these caves frightened this man to his core.

Look at this quest, isn’t it neat,
aren’t new worlds chances for you to meet,
new people who see this girl,
this girl who has everything?
Look at my crown, daylight behold,
how can this story remain untold?
We have to get through,
get through this labyrinth,
I’ve got Husani and Nox and then Merlock,
then Rowan, Butir and me.
Protect Dallian? Sure no prob.
But what then? Can’t you see,
we want more.
I wanna know, who calls out to us all,
I wanna see wanna see her face and,
tell her that trying to kill your guests isn’t…

There’s nowhere to hide, nowhere to run,
this armour will burn like the heart of the sun!
The spider will die,
this rock did not even try…

With orbs as the key, we will be

We found out the meanie,
is really a genie,
who’s trapped in this land.

Oehoe! A new story by me, Nox! Writing this stuff down is so weird. It doesn’t even look like a newspaper story, I think it's more of a journal thing. Writing down everything I am thinking and remembering. I have so much I’m thinking about right now. Like I just remembered I have to get my Pot back from Shi’liane. I should go soon. What happens if it blooms when I am not there? What if something happens and I can’t go? And now I have to think of the mission again. Else this story is not even about the mission!
Okay, where should I start. Think Nox, think! Oh, right, who was on the quest. I met a few people I know, but never been on a quest with before, some new people. At least I think, I get so much information from my surroundings, I just can’t organise them what, where, when. but oehoe! I am drifting off again. My companions were; Kenzie, Rowan, Merlock, Husani, Butir and myself, Nox.
We gathered at the Guildhall and then went to Gwendolyn, as she handles gold quests. Our quest giver wasn’t there yet, he was running late. But Gwendolyn said we should wait a few more minutes before we should go looking for him. Rowan told us that we should set up our party roles so we know what everyone can do. And then Kenzie told everyone that it is important to know each other's roles in the party, because it would give us an edge in combat according to her. I heard that Kenzie has a lot of experience with quests. I heard she even died! But then her friends brought her back, which is so nice of them. It is really important to have friends around. I know someone who thinks it’s not, and she got really angry about it. She even attacked me with magic! Can you believe that? All adventurers should be friends I think. It’s really important, because they can protect you, and you can protect them.
So we were discussing the party roles, and our quest giver entered. I can't really remember his name. I think it was Daldin, nono Aladin? No that not right... ohoe! I remember it was Dallian! He was really energetic, and said a lot, but I couldn’t really follow everything, but we had to go with him for some reason. He said something about a cave, and sounds that were coming from the cave, and he didn’t know what it was. Still don’t really know why, but it was a quest, so why not.
As usual with other worlds. We go through the gate, which we all have done before, so nothing new there. The other side of Gate was a big room. People drew on the ground, all kinds of circles and symbols. Husani also saw a Book. I saw it too, but it’s a book, so is it worth mentioning? Maybe it is. Maybe I should call out stuff I see if others don’t. But he wanted to read it, but I think he couldn’t or something, Rowan could read it I think, but I didn’t pay too much attention to it. I was thinking to color the circles in, but then Husani told us they were magical. And I have been told to not play with magic stuff if you don’t know what it is, because it could kill you.
Right in front of us was the cave Dallian was talking about, Butir and Merlock went in first, because they were appointed to be the first line. I just walked in, as I was not appointed in the marching order, because I can just walk between everyone's legs. There was no danger in the room so we just scattered around, looking for stuff. Then a female voice spoke to us. I was trying to find the person talking but could see her. She is probably really good at hiding. But she told us this was her home, and that she has been alone for a long, long time. That is so sad. But she was happy to have visitors, and wanted to play with us! I like playing! The others were just going through her stuff, which is weird. If you are a guest you can’t just go through their stuff right? But she was ok with it, so it doesn’t really matter.
The voice told us that in the next room her other guests were arriving. Cool! More friends! The others didn’t really trust it, and grabbed their weapons and stuff. Merlock sneaked towards the opening to the other big room to peek and check what was there. I went through a side room, and the others followed. Husani said it was ok to ride on his pet, which has a difficult name, so I just call him doggy. Rowan found all kinds of paper stuff, with recipes on them, and she traded it with one of her own. Which is so nice of her! Sharing is caring, and knowledge is smart and things. Kenzie gave a stone she found to Dallian, it can be used to talk over long distances she said, which sounds cool. Why don’t we all have a stone like that. Then you don’t have to go to someone, or write letters. But on the other side, meeting friends is fun. The room next, is the room Merlock was peeking into. Nobody was there, but there were two big statues of minotaurs carrying a big shiny red gem. I wanted to touch the gem, but that was a no-no, but Dallian also wanted to touch it, and before Merlock could stop him, he touched them.
The party got split, as I was suddenly somewhere else, some sort of maze, together with Kenzie and Merlock. Merlock said that splitting the party is a really bad idea, so I kinda panicked. I turned myself invisible to scout around and used some illusion magic to slow down a monster. I found the other half of our party not long after. Kenzie started helping the others as they were attacked by a walking stone. Butir was shouting at the stone, saying it hits like shit, but I saw the stone land quite a massive blow on him, Butir is quite sturdy. Not really useful if you want to die though. I stuck with Merlock, helping to take down this big guardian thing. Really annoying, everytime we damage it, it seems to repair itself. After we dealt with these threats, we were greeted by the voice we heard before. It was a Genie named Myanmar. She told us that she had a lot of fun and that we could keep the items we found. She also invited us to come by later again. Really nice of her. I now have a stone that looks like a kitty. I don't have a name for it yet, but it is really pretty!
Well, that’s all for today, I really should go see Shi’liane now!
