Crosslander Species in Chordas System | World Anvil

Crosslander

Crosslanders are voracious omnivores who hibernate through the winter. They seek the comforts of the Eyan civilization but are not putting in the work to build their own.   Semi-upright, preferring quadrupedal movement when traveling on rough terrain. Crosslanders give live birth to one or two children in the spring, then move slowly across the land, eating as they go. Near midsummer, they converge on ancestral feeding grounds. When their large bellies are replenished, they begin their slow trek back to their winter dens.   It is rare to see Crosslanders in Eyan towns, but one family with no new babes in the spring will travel to the Eyan capital to try to open negotiations.
