    Saurian Takmani are massive and have jaws like a crocodile and a massive tail they can strike with. When these people bite, they can latch on and never let go. They also have a powerful digestive system and can consume almost any organic substance safely. They are vulnerable to the cold, but this allows them to live on a smaller diet. They have particularly long legs to the point where even half Saurians are noticeably faster.

    Scelornian Takmani are covered in venomous spikes. They excel in taking out opponents much stronger than them by using hit-and-run tactics or just fighting defensively until the poison can take effect. Every application of their poison can steadily weaken the target, eventually crippling it completely if it hasn't died.

    Acrodonian Takmani are very difficult to spot if they don't want to be. They are capable of changing the patterns on their skin to match their background, signal to others silently, or just make themselves look very colorful. They have the ability to also move very quietly and can "stick" to any surface they climb onto.

    Saurian Features

    Large In Stature
    • Sarians are larger than most other sentients.
    • Any enemy has an additional +1 to hit a saurian.
    • When purchasing Weapons or Armor, your equipment must be resized.

    Natural Weapons and Armor
    • You have +2 DR all over your body excluding your eyes. If any attack with a blood-agent reaches this DR, the follow-up affects you. (Damage Resistance)
    • Your hands and feet have claws. When punching or kicking with bare hands or feet, you gain +1 damage per die. (Blunt Claws)
    • Your tail is incredibally long and heavy. Striking with it deals thrust+1 crushing damage. It has a Reach of 1 and has a -2 to either DX or Brawling to hit. You may use it to Parry at (DX or Brawling)/2+3. (Crushing Striker)
    • Your bite deals thrust-1 cutting damage. If you successfully bite, you may automatically grapple the target you just bit. Further rules on the grapple are listed below.

    Gaping Maw
    • Your face is only at a -3 to hit from the front (not including the SM penalty). On a hit to the face, roll a 1d6. On a 1-2, your jaw is hit.
    • Your mouth is lined with large, sharp teeth. You bite as if you were 2 Size Modifiers larger than yourself
      • Target is SM +3: Cannot bite skull or vitals. Can only cripple on a critical hit. A successful bite can lead to an automatic grapple if you so choose. This is a "one-handed" grapple. On this and all grapples below, you may "worry" your target for a bite attack that automatically hits as long as you remain grappled.
      • Target is SM +1 or +2: Can target any location a cutting attack normally can. Treat grapples as "two-handed" grapples for the purposes of strangling, breaking free, Neck Snap, and Wrench Limb, but "one-handed" for all other purposes.
      • SM 0 or less: Can engulf entire head or torso. You may attack, worry at, and cripple any body part. If you bite and grapple the torso, you can attempt a pin on a standing target. Success means they are trapped helplessly in your jaws.

    Steady Strength
    • For the purposes of carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling, your ST is 6 levels higher than usual. This also helps with effects that require steady pressure like grappling, choking, etc. (Lifting ST)

    Hearty Immune System
    • You can eat and gain nutrition from anything roughly organic. Your cost of food is reduced to 1/3 of the usual cost because you can get away with eating less nutritious meals. (Reduced Consumption: Cast-Iron Stomach)
    • Whenever affected by any metabolic hazard (poisons, diseases, altitude sickness, etc.), you gain a +8 on all HT rolls to resist. You have an additional +2 to resist any food-borne poinsons or illnesses. (Resistant: Metabolic Hazards, Reduced Consumption: Cast-Iron Stomach)

    Saurians are large reptilian humanoids that are capable of living off of anything organic. While they do enjoy fine cuisine, they are perfectly happy to live off the scraps that everyone else just throws out. They walk in a hunched over manner using their massive arms as another set of legs. They are fastest when they travel on all fours along a fairly straight line. If they want to only walk on their hind legs, the can move at 60% of their normal move.
