Children of Golden Light
The Children of Golden Light, like the Norenthian Voidsingers, have a somewhat unfocused organization. Some of the branches are unified, some priests strike out on their own, and other small groups work together towards common goals. The one thing that all their worshippers have in common is that they follow the overgod Athneron. Due to lack of cohesion in their ideologies, structure, and leadership, the church is rather a nebulous notion. This is made stranger by the fact that the Children of Golden Light is one of the smallest churches in Chenravo. All of the First Ones (sans the seventh) have larger congregations than the Children of Golden light and the Norenthian Voidsingers combined.
One of the deeds that the most ambitious of the Children strive for is that of the discovery of the First Temple. The first place created by Athneron at the beginning of time. It is said that this area has enough divine power left over from those early days of divinity to deify someone, should they know how to use it. This rumor, at least a thousand years old now, has focused a lot of the church's efforts. Some seek to be divinely gifted, others want their names carved in the annals of history as having found it. They aren't the only ones looking for it, of course, but given Athneron's involvement, the Children have put the most effort into the search.
Structure
Due to the vast differences in structure amongst the Children, there are a number of different structures and organizational styles. These are often too many and too varied to detail here. Generally speaking, if a style is practised amongst Athneron's supporters, it is practised by Him. It is unclear whether they learned their techniques from him, or vice versa. Most scholars tend to agree that Athneron is the source for the managerial styles employed by His supporters.
Culture
The cultures of the Children are as differentiated as anything else regarding them. Some of them are brutal, despotic, and dangerous, while others are beautiful, uplifting, and open. It all depends on the leaders of that particular faction and how they decide to run things. Athneron Himself has little to no preference on how the factions function, so long as they do, and continue to create. Athneron is tied with Norentha for the least hands-on with their clergy, giving nearly no direction to them.
Public Agenda
The Children have only one goal: to create. The power vested in them by Athneron allows them to make whatever they want from nothing. This is their one and only goal: to create, to build, and to create again. Most don't care what they create, so long as they have the opportunity to do so. Life, minerals, architecture, truth. All fall under the umbrella of Athneron. The best of Athneron's clergy have specialties. The better that a person can control the power granted to them by Athneron, the fewer imperfections are in their work. The best of them can create their works without any kind of flaws.

Creation is central to survival.
Agents of destruction must be eliminated at all costs.
The act of creation is the most holy of all acts.
