The Calgori Empire
Structure
The Calgory answer to Emperor Pertinax and the Imperial Court of the Sun. Church and state are considered one and the same in the Empire. The heads of various parts of state are headed by Paladin Lord Commanders and Arch Priest Clerics. The Emperor - who is considered Pelor's mortal representative - dictates what the Great Plan entails for the Empire - his word is gospel.
Public Agenda
The Calgory claim to bring light and prosperity to the world. However, their recent expansionist tendencies have many other kingdoms and factions on edge.
Assets
The Gnomes of Tinkus have declared their allegiance to the Empire. As such, the Calgory have access to a vast array of Gnomish technology. Chief among them is the Great War Airships.
Demography and Population
The Empire consists mainly of Humans and Gnomes, however, other races are present. These other races are unlikely to fill important posts in the government as these are reserved for Human or Gnomish elite. There is said to be a strong presence of angels in the government, but this has been officially denied.

Military
The Empire are the most militarily advanced organisation on Chardovia. Not only do they have flying engines of war, they are home to the Pelor Paladins and their griffon mounts.
Religion
The Holy Church of the Sun, a religious organisation entirely devoted to the Worship of Pelor. The Calgory do, however, make room for Janus (especially in the court system), but they tend to be mildly to zealously intolerant of other sects.
Foreign Relations
The Calgory proclaim themselves to be a peaceful and just Empire. However, they have recently taken the settlement of Sobek and placed the people their under their rule. They claim this was to prevent a Dragonborn uprising.
Mythology & Lore
The Calgori believe that they are Pelor's chosen people. They believe that it is their destiny to complete the Great Plan.
