Esdulgar
Esdulgars are mixed-blooded Dulgars, notable for their gold-hued skin. A small group of Mahjogar who were praying atop a mountain were closest to the divine light that spilled forth during the Enlightenment, and they became the Dulgar, able to see deeper than most. They looked down and witnessed Aasesh fleeing from the divine light in fear. They felt disgust at his cowardice, and they lured him to the surface of the sea and slew him, wearing his golden flesh to distinguish themselves as the new gods of the continent of Cjangar.
Esdulgars are not direct descendents of the Aureates; rather, they are impure offspring of Handulgars. Unlike Handulgars, Esdulgars cannot live solely using their soulsight ability. As such, they are more likely to travel Ebdypha. And like Handulgars, they are often met with fear by the common person. It doesn't help that many law enforcement bodies will employ Esdulgars to help with hunting down illegal activity, adding to the already-dangerous nature of soulsight.
