Anguilavis

Anguilavis is a type of creature that has the ability to fly through the air as though it were swimming through water up to a certain height. There are several different species with distinct appearances and abilities, but they all share the common features of a long serpentine body covered in scales, a reptilian head, and between two and six small clawed limbs.
Arizathran anguilavis are the largest and most powerful. They are only found in the Driftlands and are a species domesticated by the Arizathrans. The largest are as long as twenty horses head-to-tail. They are used to carry people to and from the Driftlands.
Skethos anguilavis are found in the Skethos Peaks of Irisqaad, and sometimes in the Katorus Peaks as well. They are wild and shy, and will only ever bond with one person at most. They generally don't grow any longer than 5 or 6 meters in length, and often have a feathery tail and a pair of jagged, blunt horns.
Uchioku anguilavis are found in the ashlands of Nwechou and are very rare, normally only seen on the slopes of Mount Uchioku itself. They are grey and have tough matte scales, and are said to be able to glide especially fast through ash, and survive in lava. They are usually only a couple of meters in length.
Juhsen anguilavis are found in the Juhsen Ranges of Heruadum and can grow up to 15 meters in length. They are slow, heavy, and have rough, thick scales. They are said to live for a very long time.
