He owns and operates K4-62 Devitis Woodworking, with two of his five adult children, Artuk Carpenter and Howard Carpenter, working for him in the shop.
Even though he has the appearance of a Northerner, due to his mother having been a mix of both Northerner and Balmast blood, while his father was of long Balmast lineage. So as such, he is not a fan of how the Northern Empire had siezed control of Martelain and run it into the ground since his childhood.
