Incorporation of the Houghlands

Civil war in the Houghlands following a debated succession to their rulership creates a power vacuum which the Duchy expands its influence into and then lays claim to based on famly connections dating back to the Younger Sons. As the wars progress the Duchy expands its influence gsining nominal control by the end of this period but the assimilation is slow and two centuries of local rebellions (frequently finnced and supported by Corvin) are only brought to an end with the Covrin Wars.
