The Wastes

This is a general name that applies to all the unsettled areas of Chaha Ris. While the Gatim have their cities and settlements in the Blood Coast and the Cheldrim make up the population of the more or less fertile areas along the river plains, the rest of Chaha Ris is a hard and wild place to live.
Some of the wastes are true scorching deserts, but there are also mountains, barren plains, high moors and some impenetrable forests. Here and there, far from the regular trade routes there are cryptic ruins belonging to long forgotten builders.
Only the Tokrim know the safe places from the unsafe, only they know the secret oases and the haunted places. And even they do not know them all.
