Ursa Minor
Across the Emerald sea from Ursa Major rests Ursa Minor. This island was released from the storm 50 years ago as well, but found on the island was the architecture of giants. Unlike the settlers that made their way to Ursa Major, the people who settled on Ursa Minor were nomadic barbarian warbands come to claim their stake on the new land. There was much bloodshed as the 63 invading warbands fought for dominance.
No one knows when or how it happened but one of the smaller warbands on the southern tip suddenly started gaining ground. Led by a new Chief called Xerxes, this previously unknown warband recreated themselves and came out as the Red Legion. Using the power of giants and and the new chief's affinity for warfare they set out and subjugated the rest of Ursa Minor.
Currently Chief Xerxes rules Ursa Minor from his tower in the capital of Leafpyle while the Red Legion is spread out amongst the giant watchtowers that dot the landscape. It is considered the safest region in the Ursa Islands due to the power of the Red Legion. All settlements are under the control of the Red Legion and all trade is also directed through a merchants guild.
