Scylding Mountains

The Great Barrier Mountains of the North

An east-west ranges of mountains just north of the Konigswood in Torness. In ages past, this feature became a barrier between the Giant Clans south of the mountains and the humans in the north. Since that time, however, the Torvians managed to push the giants further south, opening the forest beyond for human development. Names as a "shield" (scyld) between the opposing forces.
