His desire to conquest Mikalis City at first didn't have the vote of Marmaw and Sacarin. However, they soon accept to follow through with his dream as having domination over the city could mean freedom for their mentor. Yet, before they are able to scheme a plan to take over a city, they need to take care of their own survival inside the city first. Without the assistance of their mentor. The three inexperienced thieves were fatigued every day for a long period of one year from stealing money from other thieves to keep themself afloat in the downtempo street of Mikalis City. However, without that dark period, Sorrow would never get the experience he needed for to lead his squad to take over the city. The day they are able to gather enough money to stay afloat, is the day their journey for hegemony over Mikalis City began.
Heirow was gifted and cursed with the sickness created from his corrupted flower, thanks to the experiment. Sorrow's flora aura was modified to be able to control both variations of the blood element enabling him to absorb and manipulate blood at will to create inevitable destruction upon his foe or generate blood to cover himself and his ally from lethal damages.
Despite its inconveniences, the unique quirk of his Flora Aura did not come to him without costs.
It is impossible to have a deep conversation about Sorrow without mentioning his life long companion, Pongo Harribel. This unharmable glob of blood was formed from the corrupted blood of Sacarin Ranta, Sorrow usually uses Pongo as a pouch to carry the money he has stolen, or most of the time, a blunt yet unpredictable weapon connecting to his finger by a string or as a tool to tactically or covertly steal items from a far distance. Growing up inside a street filled with thieves and rogues, a fair fight is not something Sorrow has grown accustomed to, like most opponent he faced, Sorrow does not care about his reputation and pride being damaged during the physical conflict. On the other hand, they care about their own survival. In the Downtempo section of Mikalis City, in order for a thief to have a full meal, another must suffer a night with an empty stomach. To keep the wellbeing of his friend in check, Sorrow would use any kind of tactic possible to take what he needs, from deception to pure brute force.

After their escape from Chamber Zero, chasing after Marmaw and Sorrow, driven by his hunter instinct and his corrupted blood, Sacarin was determined to hunt down his prey. However, he was caught in motion by Sorrow, and most of his corrupted blood was absorbed from him, absorbing most of his wraith and giving some of it to Sorrow, forming a connection between them. Thinking that he owes Sorrow his life for freeing him from the corruption, Sacarin looks at sorrow as his leaders and accept his invitation to join his squad.
