Background

A Vision

In times long before the flourishment of Zvaaraes lived Lord Theovyl'lius Zvaaria the Second, the first-in-line successor of the Zvaarian throne. He always needed his personal glory to be over all else. His legacy had to be remembered and his wealth had to be displayed all over Cathrea. When he finally started his crowns legacy he needed a way to move the peoples hearts and brains alike, so he pondered and came up with a brilliant idea, at least in his mind. He consulted his most trusted nobles about his following plan:

Theovyl'lius: Venerable elders, say, let me propose a thought to you. We all agree that this kingdom needs change, yet the people are iving in ignorance and blindness. We need a message from the gods themselves to guide this folk to glory, we need deception we need... a vision.
Elder: INSOLENCE, ehrm... your grace, how can we deceive our peoples? How can you be this... deceitful? And how do you plan to even convince the folk?
Theovyl'lius: Respected elder, we will just forge a gift from goddess Sam'yra ourselves. A book, detailling new rules and laws, commanded from nature herself. Before you say any more, let me elaborate...

The Laws of Nature

Discussions were long and tedious, but the council of elders inevitably gave in to the plans of their lord. Upon this decision, the Mother Earths Zvaarian Laws-Document was made over the course of several Blessings. This book included various new laws that the nobles were trying to push onto the people.
VI: All heed my call, as a darkelves familys first born females life shall serve the king.
VII: As the nobles identity is only second to my own, no tax shall be collected from their family.
VIII: The call to war shall be received and not frowned upon. Rather rejoice, as thy life is given towards the king.

A Faitful Visit

Dreams were plaguing the king in his sleep. For the last few Blessings, the same dream was haunting him night in and night out. He stood in a black forest, alone, with a bunch of wildlife ruthlessly tearing him to shreds. The last thing he sees when waking up from his sleep was a face, a strangely familiar face. When woken up by these nightmares, he often found strange scars on his body. On this day, the 3rd of the Third Blessing, 1264, the last night of the Celestial Mahrajan of Nature, he was sitting in his throne, watching his people working on the grand treehouse while having two beautiful darkelves by his side, as he suddenly felt his heart sting, it felt like a thousand needles stabbing his chest at the same time. The sky darkened even more than the night allowed, the torches were extinguished and extreme winds started to rage. Everyone screamed and ran in seperate directions. "WHO PISSED THE GODDESS OF NATURE OFF ON HER FATED DAY?", a voice sounded from the crowd. In all this mess, lord Theovyl'lius vanished. Only one month later, on the 3rd of the Fourth Blessing did he return.

Regret

That one month was never mentioned by the king ever again. A half-assed explanation was given to the public which kind of eased the minds of the common folk, but the church, market and nobles didn't buy it. Every time they brought up the actual events of that faited day however, the king screamed at the top of his lungs as if he fell in utter despair. Theovyl'lius Zvaarias new found anxiety and pain only worsened with time and after about a year he was nothing more than a shell of his old self.

Memories

A full year without a proper leader followed and the lord went into seclusion. Aside from the occasional scream, noone saw the 3rd heir of the throne in a long time, when one day, the guards to his chamber haven't heard any painful noises from him for three days. As they went to check his room however, he was gone. The only thing left behind was a note addressed to his oldest son and his most trusted elder. This letter was The Zvaarian Testimony.

The Ruler of Mountains, Fields and Mines

History

Sir Illunpyuh Zvaaria

As the son of the 10th Zvaarian king, Sir Illunpyuh Zvaaria is a most righteous character. Loved and admired by his peers, the heir of the throne wanted to revive his kingdom to its former glory. When he then found out that his landsprinciples were built upon lies, deceit and personal gain, he didn't know how to react.

A force not to be trifled with

Sir Illunpyuh Zvaaria began to seek his most trusted friends and built his own military unit. Not only warriors, but also adventurers, merchants, priests and various other personalities were recruited. Five years later, now that he suppressed some of his fathers influence and built his own force, he did the unimaginable:
Heareth my trusted brothers and sisters. Our world is built upon lies and deceit! You are told that the current regime is one built upon Sam'yra wishes herself, yet this could not be further from the truth! These laws were put upon your ancestors by mine. Lord Theovl'lius Zvaaria created Mother Earths Zvaarian Laws by his own hands! The Venerable Elders you now see as saints and saviours are nothing but deceitful pigs! Heareth now! We shall turn this wicked world around, so heed my call and let us build a world of righteousness and faith! Cometh my brothers and sisters, let us take back what is rightfully ours and free our families from their suffering!
