Diventia

The Diventia, or Divine Seeds were large, semi-spherical gemstones that held immense divine power. While knowledge of their creation no longer exists; many scholars attest these can only be created by a powerful divine being. The use of Diventia have been recorded on several occasions during the history of Casus Simtura. The Diventia have been used to harness ultimate divine power to manipulate matter creating new species, to grant divinity to mortal creatures, and in some cases as a near limitless source of magical power. 
The first recorded use of the Diventia comes from the history of the angels or Cordziz, who used them to power their flying fortresses. These massive city sized blocks of stone were able to levitate hundred of miles overland and float on air currents. The Cordziz used the flying citadels to traverse long distances and provide support for their armies to launch attacks upon either terrestrial targets or other flying citadels. The total number of flying fortresses is a debate among scholars for all were destroyed during the earliest history of Casus Simtura. Few if any documents describing their locations or use have survived the millennia but a small number have been located and plundered.
