Welcome to Carver City! Our campaign will take place in this city a few years after Mayor Graves' rise to power. The city has always had a mysterious nature to it, although it was only recently that people started getting hurt because of it. This site will serve as an overview of the city and be a place you can refer back to. As you explore, I will keep the various sections up to date with places you visit.

A Brief History
Carver City is a new city built over an old one. Originally a British colony, it rapidly grew in its role as a trading outpost for the Horneater Trading Company due to its prime location on the Horneater Bay. However, it suffered substantial physical and economic damage during the Revolutionary War due to its strategic importance. Today, the city has bounced back from the Great Depression to become a powerhouse of industry and development. New technology companies have opened in
Downtown and advanced research is taking place at
Andrew Carver University. Overlaying all of this is The Mist, the magical force that hides the legendary from the ordinary residents of the city. However, almost since its founding, Carver City has been filled with Rifts, those who have awakened to legendary powers. Without them, the city never would have grown to the point it is at today. The only question is whether it will all come crashing down because of them as well.
Character Considerations
What legend, myth, story, or concept do you embody? Do you embody all of it or just some aspects?
What were you before you awoke? How does it play into your life now?
What do you want from the city? How are you going to get it?
