Striker Inzaghi

Inzaghi Alvada (a.k.a. Striker Inzaghi)

Inzaghi Alvada, better known as Striker Inzaghi, is a Privateer and ex-pirate, and arguably one of the best swordsman in Carth - second only to Maximillian Mandorf and his fury.   Inzaghi was born in the streets as an urchin in Presos, the capital of Isla de Phantos. Growing up as a homeless orphan in Presos was particularly difficult, as food scraps were rare in town and the merciless heat would take the lives of most. Inzaghi would spend his time pickpocketing on the streets, and living off the fruit trees in the oases on the river delta around the city.   In adolesence, Inzaghi would stowaway on what he thought was a merchant ship to Sondur - only to discover it to be a pirate ship on its way to Port Antilliad. Inzaghi would again end up on the streets - this time instead in the scum hole that is Antilliad. This proved a much harder challenge with pickpocketing, as all the marks here were veterans in the trade. Inzaghi is a very observant person, and would spend much of his time watching and studying the thugs and their thievery - sometimes even purposely getting pickpocketed.   This observant skill would help him learn how to wield a blade. Inzaghi would often join pirate crews and watch how they fought. This, along with his pickpocketing ability to find subtle opportunities to strike, led to him being a notorious duelist. His duels would rarely last longer than 5 seconds - typically ending the fight with his first strike, leading to his nickname of Striker Inzaghi, and would eventually captain his own crew and ship - the Del Rami (translated to 'The Striker').   One regular night at Antilliad, he would bed a common whore. Nine months later, the same woman would come to his ship with a child claiming him to be the father. Initially, Inzaghi would deny it, but the next morning he would find the baby in his bunk and the woman gone. He would name his son Ramirez, after his ship.   Afraid of his lifestyle being too dangerous for his son, Inzaghi volunteered himself as a Privateer and Pirate hunter for the Mansa of Phantos. This was more stable, and allowed his son to be safe in Phantos while he was on duty - a role he still fills to this day. Inzaghi from time to time, will take someone as his student in the way of dueling - though this is somewhat rare, expensive, and a highly competitive position.
