Odile was a born painter and before she was cursed, she decorated Castle Swan Lake with her art.

Personal history
Odile was born as daughter of Jackson and Katherina. Her mother died giving birth to her.
Odile's father was always there for her and he educated her. She did not know that he is a Magic user and believes that he was a doctor of some sorts.
When Odile was thirteen years old a dark wizard named Rothbard told her that her father died and that he would care for her. He took her to Castle Swan Lake. She fell in love with him, something he used to his adventice.
Later Rothbard abducted a girl named Odette and Cursed her with the Swan Curse. Odile was extremely jalouse of Odette. But when Odette fell in love with the second prince of Albor David Rothbard asked Odile for help, still loving him she agreed. This is when he gave her the Swan Curse turning her in to a black Swan.
At that point Odile faced the truth that Rothbard was using her and did not love her. Now she is a black swan and David broke Odettes curse.

Jackson educated her in math and writing.
