Jack was born into the Gleeson family together with his older twin brother Hyde
At an early age he wanted to become a doctor, but before his father could send him to school he died during an explosion. Hyde lost his arm and came close to be shipped off to the Mine. There grandmother prevented that and took them in. Now Hyde is working small jobs to pay for Jack's education.
