Get Well Soon
General Summary
As the guards gave chase, the party sprung into action. Besella and Bhenhi worked together to find a path forward through the city using while Caldwell was able to get the party passed an unexpected guard checkpoint. In their haste to get away, the party slipped into a set of market stalls knocking over baskets and goods to slow their pursuers. The mastiffs under the guard's control loped along after using their noses to keep the trail even through the rough terrain.
Another guard joined up at the checkpoint with Stela leading the way out and Gourm and Caldwell slowing the pursuers through blade and trap.
The fortune of the pursuers seemed to turn with what appeared to be a shortcut only to fall directly into the trap set by Gourm, temporarily getting confused and even finding themselves tracking the wrong party altogether.
Through guile, wit, and some perseverance the party ultimately lost their pursuers before winding their way back into an abandoned well in a residential area of the trading post. Arthus lead them down the well into a secret den where the party met up with Torva.
