Shadowfell

The Shadowfell, also known as the Plane of Shadow, is one of the planes of existence in various cosmological models. It exists as sort of a counterpart to the Feywild, in the sense that it is a reflection, or "echo", of the Prime Material Plane. Unlike the Feywild, it is a bleak, desolate place full of decay and death.
There are many ways to enter the Shadowfell - some are blessed with ways to travel there independently, others use spells to facilitate planar travel. Others stumble upon shadow crossings, which are gateways from the Material plane to the Shadowfell.
